As we flew out of Yellowknife, we began to wonder, did we really move here for a year or was this just an extended stop on a longer journey? It had all the trappings of a normal life - a great apartment, jobs, gym memberships.... routines. But it also had the rawness of being on the road - an extreme climate, crazy skies, a culture all its own, and nothing save wilderness all around this minuscule pocket of near civilisation. It was unforgettable. Brutal and beautiful. Although in the end, what made this year, was nothing more than the friends we made.
My Friends, You made the last year a warmer place for all of Us who got to know you !
We'll always miss you, and remember you Forever -
P.S. Allyce, and I went to, and squated for the night, to view our dream house on Vee Lake - 2284 sq feet and breathtaking - Was used for Aurora Tours -
Zhamil drove us, and hung out all day then Allyce and I slept on the top floor with the scent of cedar enveloping us and we thought - Wish Jeff and Heather were here !
You left one week too early !
But you were here....in Liquid Form ! Zhamil brought the 16 yr old scotch you gave him and we cheered many times to you, saying -
